Built: 1910-1911
Architect/Style: John McKecknie // Greek Revival & Neo-Classical

The Grand Avenue Temple, a cornerstone of Kansas City's spiritual and architectural heritage, stands majestically at the southeast corner of 9th Street and Grand Boulevard. This historic structure, completed between 1911-1912, is not only a place of worship but also a striking example of Greek Revival architecture.
The 114 year old building is in fantastic condition and was purchased by a local entrepreneur earlier this year. I had the unique pleasure of taking a personal tour of this building, generously provided by the new owner.
