The Community Bookshelf in downtown Kansas City, MO, is a remarkable feature that adorns the south wall of the Central Library’s parking garage.

This eye-catching display consists of 22 enormous book spines, measuring approximately 25 feet by 9 feet, made from signboard mylar. The selection of titles showcased on the bookshelf was determined through input from Kansas City readers and chosen by The Kansas City Public Library Board of Trustees.
