The Tension Corporation Headquarters, located at 819 E. 19th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, is a historic nine-story brick building originally constructed as the Montgomery Ward and Company General Merchandise Warehouse. Designed by John McKecknie, a pioneering architect in the use of reinforced concrete, the building was completed in two phases by 1911.
