Satchel Paige Memorial Stadium, located at 51st Street and Swope Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri, has a long history as an athletic and community landmark. The site was first developed in the early 1900s by the Kansas City Field Club, which added a baseball diamond, pool, tennis courts, and a clubhouse.
